Glandex® Glossary - Bromelain

An enzyme found in the pineapple plant, bromelain is an effective, naturally occurring anti-inflammatory and antihistamine for pets. Pets with wounds, pain, swelling, arthritis and muscle tension may benefit from bromelain. The enzyme could have contraindications with certain pharmaceuticals like anticancer drugs, blood thinners, and antibiotics.
