January "Kyra" - Anal Gland Success Case #2

January 2017 "Kyra"

January Pet of the Month Kyra

This adorable girl is Kyra, a 4-year old female Alaskan Malamute and one of our January 2018 Glandex® Pets of the Month!  This is what Kyra's mom had to say about using Glandex® for her...

"When we adopted our Alaskan Malamute, Kyra, at that age of 2, we found out that she had issues with her anal glands (having always shared our lives with big dog breeds, we'd never heard of anal glands...). Anyway, her issues with her glands would frustrate her so much that she would pull out her tail hair! Poor baby, she appeared to suffer, both physically and emotionally from this. We, of course, consulted with our vet, who told us to have her glands routinely expressed... yet another emotional stress on our baby girl that wasn't all that effective. I therefore went on the hunt for a solution and found Glandex. After reading up on commentary and what those soft chews were made of, I figured that we had nothing to lose to try it out. Well, it works, and wonderfully too! Even Kyra's tail is fluffing up! :-)" Nathalie & Kyra

Fun Fact: Kyra loves going on long walks and sledding (we have a kick sled) in the fields at back of our home. She also thoroughly enjoys playing with squeaky toys, especially her stuffed animals and balls. When someone she likes or loves enters the house, she almost invariably jets off to get one of her toys and bring it, somewhat as a greeting gesture. :-)

We adopted Kyra when she was already nearly 2 years old; it is and remains one of our best decisions! She's so sweet that she even managed to make friends with our 15 year-old grumpy 9-pound cat; quite an feat!
