Glycerin - Glandex® Glossary

Glycerin is a colorless, odorless, viscous liquid that is sweet-tasting and non-toxic. When used as an emollient, or skin softener, it treats or prevent dry, rough, scaly, itchy skin and minor skin irritations. When incorporated into food, glycerin acts as a laxative, loosening stools and making for the swift passage of fecal matter.
